Party Terms & Conditions

• Please note that a non refundable deposit of £40 is required for all party bookings held at Funky Town and Laser Storm Chester. Online bookings will be confirmed by email.
• Should you need to cancel the booking then you will lose your deposit.
• Should you need to move you’re booking then it is at the sole discretion of the management as to whether they will allow this. In the event that this is not possible then you will have deemed to have cancelled the booking and will lose your deposit.
• If the total number of guests attending the party is less than the minimum numbers required the full price for the minimum number of guests is payable.

• Children are the responsibility of the supervising adult. Funky Town does not provide services of supervision to children using the centre. We request that for every 5 children one adult should be present.
• Funky Town staff members are present to ensure the correct use of the Play equipment, access first aid facilities and to implement the centre rules.
• Socks must be worn at all times.
• Only food and beverages purchased at the centre may be consumed on the premises.
• No food or beverages may be taken in or consumed on the play equipment
• Smoking is strictly prohibited within the building at all times. Smoke alarm sensors operate throughout the centre.
• Our play equipment is only designed for use by children aged 0yrs to 11yrs (height restrictions apply, see rules of play)
• Use of foul and abusive language is prohibited.
• Threatening or intimidating behavior towards any of our staff or other customers will not be tolerated, and will be reported to the police.
• Anyone deemed to be under the influence of intoxicating beverages or illegal substances will be refused entry to the centre & may be reported to the police/local services.
• The company does not accept responsibility for lost or damaged possessions.
• All children & adults participate at their own risk. The company does not accept liability for loss or injury of whatever nature, caused through misuses of the equipment or lack of parental supervision or failure to comply with the Centre Rules.
• The company reserves all rights to admission/refusal of admission.
• The company reserves the right to alter times, attractions and prices without prior notification.
• Parties must arrive no earlier than ten minutes prior to the start of their booking. Extra time cannot be added to the end of a party due to late arrival; late arrivals may miss their party in which case no refund will be offered.
• Funky Town is still open to other members of the public during your party, except in the case of a Private hire.
• Please notify us of any changes in your group size for any party booking atleast 48 hours before your party. Should you bring fewer children on the day than you have booked for we reserve the right to charge the full amount for the absent children at £2 per child.
  

Funky Town Rules of Play:

These rules are for the benefit of everyone that visits Funky Town. They ensure the safety and enjoyment for every visitor and are intended to help you and your children get the most out of their Funky Town experience. Please help us to ensure they are followed:

• Children must be booked into the centre by an adult (e.g. Parent or Guardian). No child is to be left in the Centre unattended.
• Please take children to visit the toilet before you use the Play Areas - it can just get too exciting in there, and we've all seen the consequences of that!
• Please do not leave children unattended in the Toddlers Play Area at any time.
• No child over the age of 3 is allowed to play in the Toddlers Play Area.
• The main play structure is recommended for children aged 4 and over.
• Parents of younger children may allow their children to use this play structure, but do so at their own risk.
• Adults are not allowed to play on any equipment.
• Children up to the age of 10 may use the appropriate play facilities subject to the child being under the maximum height of 4’9” (143 cm) tall.
• Suitable clothing must be worn. Ideally, legs and arms should be covered.
• Children should not use the play structures with jeweler, watches, rings, badges, or sharp objects in pockets that may cause injury or damage to equipment whilst playing.
• Please remove children’s shoes before they enter the Soft Play Area.
  Socks must be worn at all times and can be purchased from reception
• No food or drinks are allowed in any of the Play Areas.
• Only food and drink purchased at the treetop tucker café may be consumed within Funky Town.
• All injuries, accidents or emergencies must be reported to a member of staff.
• Children who are unwell should not use the facilities.
• Management reserves the right to refuse admission.
